‘Goldrush’, We enthusiastically lift our glasses to 'Co-op 38', the apple now called 'GoldRush'. A few decades ago, four land grant universities cooperated to develop resistant varieties that could thrive in Eastern and Midwestern orchards. This 38th selection boasts an aromatic, citrusy “rush” that softens beautifully in oak barrels. We aged this batch for more than a year in oak. A true cooperation between apples and time!
