We enthusiastically lift our glasses to ‘Co-op 38', the apple now called ‘Gold Rush’. A few decades ago, four land grand universities cooperated to develop resistant varieties that could thrive in Eastern and Midwestern orchards. This 38th selection boasts an aromatic, citrusy “rush” that wakes up the palate and plays off the yellow apple fruity aroma.
