Rosedale ciderkin
low-abv cider made from second-use crabapple pressings
Ciderkin is a historic beverage made from spent apple skins and fruit flesh. We take these scraps from the apple press, rehydrate them in water overnight, and press them again. The result is a light, crisp, low-ABV beverage that retains the flavor and character of the apple while still being crushable and approachable.
This ciderkin was made using Rosedale crabapples, which are packed with bright acidity and astringent tannins and flavors reminiscent of cranberries and grapefruit. This effervescent drink pairs well with cream sauces, grilled meats, and hard cheeses. Bring it to your next backyard barbecue or charcuterie night!
